Kittery, ME: On December 11, Seacoasters convened at Tulsi Indian restaurant in Kittery to help RAIN kick off learning and earning programs for women and girls in Niger for 2014.
Tulsi owner and master chef Rajesh Mandekar created a special menu of delicious North Indian courses for the occasion, and Tuareg jewelry along with hand crafted items from RAIN’s artisan cooperatives were available for sale.
Speakers included founder Bess Palmisciano and long time RAIN Board member Nancy Borden. Tulsi donated a large portion of the evening to RAIN.
