Legacy Lane Farm & Jordan Taylor Wellness are teaming up with Rain for the Sahel and Sahara for TWO donations-based classes to bring opportunity to the women of Niger.
In recognition of the similar challenges women face across the globe, these 3 women-led organizations are collaborating to support their sisters in Niger. We hope you’ll join us to support women’s entrepreneurship – from NH to Niger!
In Niger, the lack of opportunity is sending men out of their communities to seek work in other countries, leaving the women and children behind. But through sustainable goat herding, women can provide for their families and their communities, promoting self-sufficiency and women-driven development. Many people in these communities live on $2 a day. They need our help to get their goat businesses of the ground – that’s where you come in. If we can reach our goal and raise $1020, that would be enough to train the women to run their business, buy 16 goats, and feed and vaccinate them for a year.
