Missed our screening and panel discussion in Concord? We hope to bring this screening to the Seacoast and Hanover areas in 2022 – stay tuned!

We were thrilled to host three local community leaders at the Red River Theatres screening and discussion:

Moderator: James McKim and panelists: Malika Kounkourou and Ali Sekou.

They discussed racial equity, the ongoing impacts of colonialism, and how these dynamics pertain to us, here in NH.

 

 

 

 

Moderator: James McKim
President of the Manchester NAACP, Chair of the Episcopal Church’s National Executive Council Committee on Anti-Racism, and Chair of the NHPBS Finance Committee.

Panelist: Malika Kounkourou
Daughter of Nigerien immigrants, pursuing a degree in International Relations at Boston University. Malika is also a Liaison Officer for the Ihsan Foundation and FIPSO Niger.

Panelist: Ali Sekou
Nigerien native and board member for the Islamic Society of Greater Concord and the Organization for Refugee and Immigrant Success. Received the Union Leader’s 40 Under Forty Award and is in Leadership NH class of ’21.
